Here is a list of literary classics that have been largely ignored by Hollywood, and perhaps deserve a little more attention. But, with Moby Dick on the way perhaps that trend is changing, it wouldn't be a surprise to see these titles in the theater in the upcoming years.

Mad Cow Disease or Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy is back in the news. Scientists now say that Mad Cow Disease can have a genetic reason, i.e. cows can be born with it. The human variant, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is acquired when the brains or spinal cord of the infected bovine is consumed.
